Dance tights are generally ticker, they will resist more than regular pantyhose. Usually you;re not suppose to wear underwear, but instead a leotard.

Dance pantyhose is kinda on the thick side as far as weave and has a sheen to it. It is also durable so it doesn’t run and is often opaque so you can’t see through it.
Formal pantyhose is flimsy and runs easily.
Wear a thong the same color as the dance pantyhose.

Dance pantyhose are thicker and usually opaque. But formal pantyhose are thin and it can be torn easily. Lol. (:

Dance pantyhose are usually thicker and have high gloss in them, so that legs look very shiny and smooth.
Sheer pantyhoses are what is worn on a daily basis and are thinner.
Opaque pantyhoses are thicker but are different from dance pantyhose in that opaque pantyhoses are usually less shiny.

Dance tights are thicker and contain more lycra than “formal” pantyhose. The same undies you wear normally should work with them as well.
